Well, it has been awhile since I have last posted and there has been a ton of things going on. Things have been going crazy between teaching and master's courses and Andrew's interview in LA!!

Andrew and I went to the ACC tournament in Atlanta. I was so excited to see my team!! It was a bucket list item that I ended up checking off my list sadly by watching them loss to Florida State....I mean come on...Florida State?... I was so ready to check off my number one bucket list item TO SEE A UNC/DUKE GAME IN PERSON....however that didn't happen :(. I ended up watching Duke win the ACC title! I mean there is no other bad way this trip could have ended!

In our house, basketball is pretty much life. So, we have been doing nothing but watching basketball pretty much every night. I am a major UNC and WKU fan and Andrew...poor guy is a UK fan. So, we have been keeping up with our teams..well my team anyway since UK didn't do much this year. We had several WKU parties and sadly watched Gonzaga bet our Tops. I had the girls totally ready for the games with their WKU attire!! Layla doesn't mind the clothes, but Riley isn't a big fan!



Then, on UNC days, the girls wear the pretty blue!! They don't have anything with the ugly blue!!



As you can tell, Riley is growing like crazy!! She is so skinny and tall. She has been a great addition to our family...except when she pees!! Any tips would be greatly appreciate; she has a mind of her own! Layla was never this hard to potty train at all!!!

Snow/Ice days

Well, today is day 3 of my snow/ice days this week. I'm starting to get really bored and very ready to see my kiddos at school. Plus, I don't want to be going to school in June too much!! Layla is in love with the snow. She just cant get enough of it.

Riley on the other hand, hates it. She won't even go to the bathroom in it. So, I have cleaned numerous accidents in the house! I guess we are lucky, we haven't had any troubles with power, but our cell phones have been going in and out. Hopefully, things will get back to normal around here with the weather!!

New addition to our family

After much debating and convincing, I talked Andrew into allow us to get another dog. Boxers are my favorite breed and I have always wanted one!! We already had a 3 year old dog named Layla. Her mother was pure breed boxer and her father was either a black lab or pit bull. She is completely spoiled!!
So, on our 6 month anniversary, my mother insisted that we travel to Nashville and have a good dinner together to celebrate. While we were in Nashville, I got on my iPhone and found a breeder in Nashville. I talked Andrew into calling the breeder and he informed us that he had a flashy fawn baby girl! So, we traveled to Manchester, TN. I instantly feel in love with Riley and she was ours. So now we have two little spoiled girls!!
