Summer days

It is one super hot day today!  Man is it fun packing a 13 pounder and a heavy carseat around town!  I am going to have muscles before you know it!  We went to Fazoli's, Kohl's, Toys R Us, and Kmart with Gigi:)  First we headed to Kohl's because their new books for Kohl's Cares are Clifford!  Every little boy needs a Clifford.  But, when we got there other mommas thought the same thing because they were sold out!!  We had to order him on the net!  Then, our main mission was to find an umbrella stroller with shoulder straps so we can take it on our first family trip next week:)  We want a smaller stroller so we can pack more in the car since we have to take a pack n' play too.  Unfortunately we had no luck, but I did end up ordering a Chicco Capri stroller off the net when I got home (I am just crossing my fingers that it comes in on time).  And it is going to be awesome because it is tangerine :)  I wanted to get the polka dot one but Andrew said no because it has a tiny amount of purple in it!!  Now Jackson can ride in style around Atlanta!

Jackson and I have had super fun playing today while daddy was at work.  He woke up in a great mood!  He has been happy and cheery and his favorite toy is his blankee frog.  He just loves to cuddle with it and of course suck on the frog.  He is in the stage now where everything goes to his mouth!  Every time he has been put on the floor he rolls right over to his belly!  Now, if we can just get him to realize how to roll back to his back.  Right now he just lets us know when he is ready with a girlie scream! 

Tonight we are off to the closing night of Jackson's first bible school!  We only went a couple of nights but he sure enjoyed watching all of the little sweeties in the nursery.  And the funny thing is that his main interest was a year old little girl.  Yeah my boy already knows how to pick out the ladies:)

It's been a long time!!

Well...we are back to the blogging world!  So much has happened since our last blog.  We now are a family of three...well five if you count the pups:) Jackson Lee was born March 9. He has completed our world and changed our lives for the better! We are so busy with diaper changing and washing baby clothes, but we wouldn't change anything. He is chaning every day and doing new things!


 

This was our handsome boy the day he was born.  Yes his face was extremely swollen and bruised.  He had a little bit of a tough entry to this world, but his swelling went down pretty fast.

16 weeks later here is how much our boy has changed!!

Today Jackson even rolled over for the first time!  He has been teetering and almost making it all the way over for weeks, but today he was finally able to make it over the hump of his quaterback shoulders!  And when he finally made if over Momma and Daddy started cheering and it scared him so much he cried:)  Then, once we calmed down he started smiling and talking to us!
